We are going to make a comparative research regarding the legal regulation of privacy protection (focusing on data protection) at workplaces. We are going to compare the German and the Hungarian national regulations and we will also going to search for other interesting useful regulation models in Europe. We are also going to evaluate the European legal framework and the implementation of the EU directives (mostly the Data Protection Directive). If it is necessary (probably it will be) we can make proposals for the legislators and for legal practitioners how to improve privacy protection. As part of the research activity, we are going to make an interview with the data protection commissioners both in Germany and in Hungary in order to identify the main problems concerning the issue of privacy at workplace.
